Windy Rock Equine Rescue, Inc. (WRER) is a non-profit organization committed to providing shelter, care, rehabilitation, and adoption services to any equine that is abused, neglected, abandoned or unwanted. We strive to provide the best possible medical attention and kindness to horses that have been exposed to negative situations.
WRER is committed to assisting local authorities in investigating equine cruelty cases, and in doing so provides humane treatment to all equines. We try our best to help these animals regain their sense of security and functionality through a lot of human touch and kindness.WRER is active in educating the public of equine abuse and of the magnificent spirit of the horse. We place horses in loving homes and provide follow-up visits on these placements. We offer counseling, information and referral services for people who are interested in owning a horse, and also for those who are naïve in the behavior of the horse.
