Chase's Story

Chase is a 14-year-old quarter horse gelding. He was emaciated and starved when he came to Windy Rock. His fur was so coated with manure that it was falling out in chunks. But Chase is on his way to health. I found the owner that had had him since he was born and he had been loved. Unfortunately through a bitter divorce, Chase had to be given away.

Furthermore, he was unknowingly given to a person that mistreated him and put in him this deplorable condition. Thank goodness we found him when we did! He is sweet and loves to be brushed! He talks to me everyday when I go to feed him.

Update: Chase was recently adopted with Izzy and went to a loving new home in West Virginia.
