Johnny's Story

He was a PMU baby headed for the slaughterhouse until Another Chance 4 Horses rescued him. We brought him to Maryland and started his rehabilitation. He was so ugly when we got him, we just thought that he had something wrong with him. His left jaw stuck out, his hair fell out on his forehead, his feet were long, and no one could get near him. We started touching him every day and now he is the sweetest, most loving horse. He is very confident now, and he was broke to ride last year.

Update: Johnny has come home from being adopted for over a year and a half. His adopter wanted to give him back because she had found another horse. He has been trained for over a year and a half and has grown to 15.3 hands. Johnny used to be afraid of and would react to everything, but now he goes on long trail rides and is an old pro!
